1967 Beetle chop top (The Start)

I bought this car in Washington in the fall of 09 but with so many things going on in our lives, new baby born March 06, 2010 and then a coast to coast road trip in our Westfalia for 7 months the chop top got put on the back burners.
Now it's late summer of 2011 and the car is in the garage on a rotisserie that I built ready for the work to start.
I'll try to keep this up to date as best as possible.
After taking a better look at the bug I've noticed a few things that look a little off and as you can see from the pictures someone didn't know or didn't care how they did the cop. Holes in the cut that should of been welded together, not filled with fiber glass. So it will be off with the roof that's on there and a new one put on, well that's the plan and I hope I haven't bitten off more then I can chew.
A few other things need to be changed or replaced as well, the front clip needs to be replaced and a section behind the rear seat as well.
First job, build a rotisserie, this should make some of the work and painting a little more easy.
